Moodle with KIDUART
Moodle integration is a roadmap item. Schools that run Moodle for course content want their student and class data to come from one place instead of being re-entered. The planned scope is user and enrolment sync from KIDUART into Moodle courses. It is not available yet, and we would rather say so here.
What is planned
- Planned: student and enrolment sync into Moodle courses
- Planned: one source of truth for class structure
- Planned: fewer manual enrolment lists each session
On the roadmap. Not in the product yet. Listed openly so you can plan around it instead of discovering it after signing. If it decides whether KIDUART fits your school, tell us during the demo we prioritise by what schools actually block on.
Where this stands
How Moodle actually works here
This is not live yet, so here is exactly what you can do today and what will change when it ships.
Today
Export class and student lists from KIDUART reports and import them into Moodle.
Tell us
Share your Moodle version and hosting so scope can be assessed properly.
When it ships
KIDUART would stay the record of who is in which class, and push that into Moodle.
What stays yours
Course content and activity data remain in your Moodle installation.
Keys, data and the bill
Who holds the credentials
When released, a Moodle web services token your IT team issues.
Where the data sits
User and enrolment records would flow out of KIDUART; course content stays in Moodle.
Who gets billed
Moodle hosting stays on your side, as it does today.
Where it lands in the product
The modules this integration writes into
An integration is only useful if it writes into the module your staff already work in. These are the exact modules involved.
How to register interest
What happens if you need this
Raise Moodle during your demo so we capture the requirement
Share your Moodle version and hosting details
We assess scope against the roadmap
You are notified when the connector is available for testing
What you need on your side
- A Moodle installation your IT team can configure
- Class structure maintained in KIDUART
Questions schools ask
Moodle, answered plainly
Is there a workaround in the meantime?
Schools export student and class lists from KIDUART reports and import them into Moodle at the start of a session. Not elegant, but it avoids double data entry all year.
