Is Twilio a good fit for an Indian school?
It works, but Indian schools sending high domestic volume usually find a local gateway such as MSG91 cheaper and simpler for DLT registration. Twilio makes more sense if you already use it or send internationally.
Do we need a messaging service?
No. A single Twilio number is enough to start. A messaging service helps once you are sending at volume and want pooled numbers.
