PayPal with KIDUART
PayPal is supported in our platform billing stack but is not released as a school fee gateway. Online fee collection today runs on Razorpay for domestic payments and Stripe where card or international support is needed. We would rather say that plainly than let a logo imply something it does not do.
What is planned
- Planned: an additional option for overseas guardians
- Planned: the same reconciliation into the fee module
- Available today: Razorpay and Stripe for live fee collection
On the roadmap. Not in the product yet. Listed openly so you can plan around it instead of discovering it after signing. If it decides whether KIDUART fits your school, tell us during the demo we prioritise by what schools actually block on.
Where this stands
How PayPal actually works here
This is not live yet, so here is exactly what you can do today and what will change when it ships.
Today
Use Razorpay or Stripe for online fee collection. Both are live and reconcile into the fee book.
If you need PayPal
Tell us at the demo which families need it, so the requirement is logged against a real school.
When it ships
The setup will mirror the other gateways: your own PayPal business account and encrypted credentials.
What will not change
Settlement stays with your account, and KIDUART records the transaction and issues the receipt.
Keys, data and the bill
Who holds the credentials
When released, your own PayPal business account credentials, encrypted per school.
Where the data sits
The same payment reference and status record the live gateways create.
Who gets billed
PayPal fees would be charged on your account, as with every other gateway.
Where it lands in the product
The modules this integration writes into
An integration is only useful if it writes into the module your staff already work in. These are the exact modules involved.

Questions schools ask

What should we use for international fees right now?
